About Me
My name is Rick Youngblood, and I am the web designer and owner of The Page Guy, Website Design. Living and working in Redding, California, I have been designing websites since 2002. Before that, I was a telecommunications engineer for 25 years. My experience has taught me copious amounts of information about the Internet and web designing. Most importantly, I have learned what makes an effective website, and how to generate a website design tailored to the needs of my clients.
I take charge of all website design tasks, ensuring that there is no red tape in which a client’s work can be lost. As a sole proprietor, I have the ability to make my own decisions for the betterment for my clients. I strive to offer my clients the highest caliber of professional websites for their businesses. Each website I create is unique and tailored to my client’s needs. No matter how large or small, I can create it.
Over the last 9 years I have honed in my skills and know what it takes to create a professional website. From my experience as a web designer and as a telecommunications engineer, I understand that the goal of any site is to display a fitting environment that represents the professionalism of my clients. Professional, high quality websites attract more page visits. The quality and uniqueness required to increase traffic can only come from a masterful web designer/developer, and not the do-it-yourself website. High-end web design is my specialty, and I will continue to endeavor to achieve happiness in all of my clients for my work. This is the high standard to which I strive for all of my clients and guess what: it does not have to cost you an arm and a leg!
As a client, I want you to be pleased with my work, and I can assure that you will be.

Web design is an often neglected aspect of websites that can cost the owner dearly. A website should be designed with retaining the visitor as the sole objective. It’s not selling, and it’s not necessarily making the site look pretty, but keeping the visitor there for those first few seconds.
